The ceremony had the grace of the representatives of DGL Camel and its parent group DuluxGroup from Australia visiting Hong Kong to witness the milestone achievement.

Yip’s Chemical Announces Acquisition of DGL Camel’s Coatings Businesses Expand Footprint in Hong Kong and Strengthen Product Portfolio

(Hong Kong, 3 January 2018) – Yip’s Chemical Holdings Limited (SEHK: 00408) (“Yip’s Chemical” or the “Group”), the world’s largest manufacturer of acetate solvents and one of China’s largest manufacturers of petrochemical products, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the businesses of DGL Camel (Hong Kong) Limited (“DGL Camel”) and related companies in Hong Kong, Macau, and the PRC, for a purchase price of RMB 107 million plus inventory value (subject to adjustments). Assets to be acquired comprise of the brand names including “Camel”, “Aquapro” and “Viva” which are currently sold by DGL Camel and decorative, architectural and industrial coatings businesses, together with related technology, receivables and inventory. A further amount will be paid to buy the inventory upon completion of an inventory valuation. The acquisition is expected to be completed on 1 February 2018.
