Established Environmental Management

The Group has established robust systems to oversee environmental matters. The Health, Safety and Environment Committee under the Board is responsible for formulating environmental strategies and monitoring related risks, while the Health, Safety and Environment Department handles the day-to-day environmental management tasks.

Ensure Clean Production

We pay meticulous attention to every aspect of our production processes to minimize environmental footprint. It ranges from the decisions about the location and layout of our plants, carrying out environmental risk assessments, emission and waste management, to providing products that meet stringent environmental standards.

Several plants under the Group have installed large volatile organic compound (“VOC”) treatment facilities to reduce VOC emissions.

Green Product R&D

We strive to develop products and services that are responsible for our environment and can benefit our customers. Our coating and ink products adopt industry-leading technology to balance functionality and sustainability.

Sustainable Financing

Sustainable financing is an important milestone in the Group’s pursuit of sustainable development. We will continue to explore other sustainable financing opportunities to improve our sustainable performance, so as to meet the next 50 years when we become a century-old company.
